Our Newest Kitchen Manager

As we were in the full swing of the holiday season, we went through a period of transition. Our Kitchen Manager, Keri, has moved on to pursue new opportunities. And we’re thrilled to announce that Roselyn, one of our former trainees, has stepped into the role! Please join us in welcoming Roselyn as the new Kitchen Manager for FoodWorks Alliance and Sweet Life Baking Co. We couldn’t be more excited to have her back in this new capacity, and we’re confident she’s the perfect fit for the position!

We asked Roselyn few questions to help you get to know her a little bit, and here is what she had to say:
Can you tell us a little information about yourself and your interests?

Roselyn: I was born and raised here in Zanesville, Ohio. I am now with God’s grace and mercy a recovering alcoholic and drug addict. For the past 3 years I have devoted myself to becoming a productive woman of this community. In my spare time I enjoy reading or spending quality time with friends and family.

What initially drew you to apply for this job?

Roselyn: Before applying to the job of Kitchen Manager I was in the 12 week program myself. There is nothing more satisfying than to give back what was once given to you.

What is the meal that you are most proud of making, personally or professionally?

Roselyn: I’d have to say my first holiday meal that I prepared for my family on my own.

What are you most excited about in your role as Kitchen Manager?

Roselyn: Having the ability to guide, understand and lift up other women in recovery. My part in helping others to re-enter their community with confidence.
