Our Newest Employee

We are pleased to officially introduce our new Kitchen Manager, Keri Rucker. Keri began with us on February 19th, 2024 and is already a valuable addition to our work family. She has launched herself into Spring cleaning, organization and helping motivate our Recovery With Purpose Trainees! We have asked Keri a few questions to help us all get to know her better:

Q.) Can you tell us a little information about yourself and your interests?

Keri: I have a wonderful, supportive family with my husband Billy, and 4 great boys- Keegan, Kody, Kolton, Cayden and a sweet Daughter In Law Dakota. We love to play and attend all sporting events. My happy places are usually on a river bank fishing or hiking in the woods together.

Q.)What initially drew you to apply for this job?

Keri: I was looking for a new job where I could grow and showcase some of my skills, also some place where I’m appreciated. I have found that at FoodWorks Alliance and I am very thankful for Amy and Victoria for taking a chance on me.

Q.) What are your impressions so far of the work that we do?

Keri: I absolutely love what we do in helping the other area businesses and helping feed people alongside Salvation Army and Trulight Ministries.

Q.) What is the meal that you are most proud of making, personally or professionally?

Keri:I’m proud of making the Chicken Pot Pie Casserole for the Salvation Army because it was one of the first meals that the women in the recovery program and I did together. Great teamwork.

Q.)What are you most excited about in your role as Kitchen Manager?

Keri: I am most excited about learning new things and being a positive role model for the trainees!
